JANEK'S CABIN, 2020
Simplicity and light are the main focus in this small cabin. The project is designed from ground as the existing cabin was in too miserable condition and had lost it's potential. With a simple floor plan of only 50 square meters the cabin fulfills the basic needs of it's owner Janek. He had a dream of a very simple decorated place for reading and cooking. The amazing windows are reuse. They are from one of the mansions in front row at the seaside of the city of Aarhus. The Tectum kitchen is reuse as well and has carefully been taken down and reinstalled. The cabin is discreetly placed in the corner of the garden on the highest point distanced from the road with a great view of the nearby surroundings.
