Michael Bang (1942-2013) was a central figure in Danish glass design in the second half of the 20th century. Rooted in a design tradition from his father, who was the first designer at Holmegaard Glassworks. He had his own modern expression, created timeless glass products that balance graphic energy and functional simplicity. His work has left a lasting mark on both Holmegaard and the wider Scandinavian design world.
