Hand crafted Danish Art Nouveau decorated vase by Karen Hagen 1909 for P. Ipsens Enke. Very bright orange and brown matte glaze. The decorative patterns and handles are well made and lively.
Very good vintage condition.

P. Ipsens Enke (1843 - 1955) was a succesfull Danish company. During the first part of the 1900´s it managed to attract several leading names in Danish design who worked for the manufactorer who exported their pieces to many countries.
P. Ipsens Enkes creations acquired many international prizes and they are represented in many public institutions all over the world.

Karen Hagen was a sculptor and painter
